German firm AC Schnitzer has unveiled a fresh tuning package for the 5 series Sedan (G30) and Touring (G31). The upgrades include aerodynamic enhancements, new alloy wheels and, of course, extra power. The aerodynamic package includes a front spoiler and a front splitter to help improve downforce, side skirts, rear spoiler, roof spoiler and rear roof wing for BMW 5 series G31 Touring.
AC Schnitzer takes the power output from 245 kW/333 HP to a whopping 400 HP. The top M550i model went through a similar tuning process, now delivering 456 kW/620 HP from 390 kW/530 HP. Suspension upgrades lower the car by 25 – 35 mm in the front and rear. For the exhaust, AC Schnitzer provides double stainless steel sports exhaust system, each with two chromed or black Sport or Carbon Sport tailpipes. The AC Schnitzer BMW 5 series is finished with a set of lightweight AC1 forged alloy wheels in anthracite.
Inside, AC Schnitzer has fitted aluminium gear shift paddles, pedals, key holder and iDrive cover for the centre console.
